Walking through the lush pine forest on well develop trail is really wonderful experience. It takes appprox 3,4 hours to reach the destination. It is one of the best, short, easy, enjoyable one day hiking trip in the southern hill of Kathmandu valley.
I went to ChampaDevi with team from school. It was one of the great experience, me and my friends reached school at 7:45 am. We discussed there about hiking we where very excited. Finally, at 8 am the bus rolled from our school. We enjoyed alot inside bus, we sang song, we dance, we talked about hiking. Finally we reached there at 9 am. From there our journey to Champadevi begins. we walked 3 hours and we ate our tiffin and take a rest there for a while. Again we started our hiking and walked for 2 hour through the pine forest. Most of the walk is along the ridge and offers a spectacular birds eye view of the Kathmandu.However, walking for 5 hour we coudn't reach to Champadevi and our journey ends there, but gave us one of the beautiful experience of hiking.
