Tihar celebration

Introduction

Tihar is 5 day long festival of Hindu after Dashain . At first day we celebrate is Kaag Tihar At second day we celebrate Kukur Tihar At third day we celebrate Laxmi puja at fourth day we celebrate Goverdan puja and the last day is vai tika.

Day 1:At first day of tihar we celebrate Kaag tihar. I also celebrated kaag tihar by giving food to crow. We celebrate kaag tihar because crow is known as messenger of Yamraj the god of death.

Day 2: The second day of tihar is celebrated as kukur tihar. Dog are worshiped in this day because dog help us and give us security I also celebrated kukur tihar by giving them delicious food and putting tika on there forehead.

Day 3: Gai puja/Laxmi puja in this day i woke up earlier,took a bath,went to the near farm and worshiped cow by putting tika on their forehead and offer them food we worshiped cow because cow give us milk,dung,urine which are used in different things  at evening i worshiped goddess laxmi,the god of wealth in this day we play deusi  and bailo.

Day 5: Bhai tika is the last and most important day of tihar festival.In this day, the sisters apply Tika to their brothers. forehead.

Dashain Celebration

Introduction

Dashain is the most important festival in the Nepalese annual calendar. Dashain is celebrated 15 days the most important days are the first,seventh,eight,ninth and tenth respectively. 

The Joyous Occasion

Whatever may the day be or the occasion, dashain traditionally has always been about friends and family meeting each other, Sharing the time they had and leaving the daily day to day hectic. My dashain went similar as well. I had my friends over for the majority of the days, where each of the day were filled with many activities. Days started with cycle rides to the nearest ground that we had available. Continued with a delicious brunch of MASSU BHAAT to replenish all the energy that we  had burned in the morning. After that the day continued with a long session of mobile games and other apps usage, continued with small sessions of Kite Flying and other mishaps. Many of the days went like this

Among all these the best day that i thought was the day of TIKA. In this day all of our family members gathered in one home from the morning. I met many person whom i hadn't seen for a long time. Spent time by harassing them as i was the smallest of the bunch. And who would scold the little one right ? :)

So the morning was spent on a hungry stomach as the tika time was preety late and me being a Gluttonous person i was super hungry. But the wait ended and we put on our tika, had fun with the family till the dawn hit where we had BHOJ, which in my view was super delicious and the day ended with a little game of TAAS between our superiors which i enjoyed watching a lot.
